What type of documentation do I need to submit?
We ask for one piece of verification that states the child is non verbal. We accept doctors notes, SLP, therapist, a diagnosis letter of any sort or verification from a school assessment or IEP.
Why do you only serve Ontario and New Brunswick?
Our foundation is very new and we had to start somewhere. Our team lives in New Brunswick and Ontario. Check back later as we absolutely intend to expand to other provinces as we grow!
Is there an age requirement?
We ask that applicants be a minimum of 3 years old.
Is there a maximum income level you can have to apply?
No. We understand first hand the costs of raising a child with special and complex medical needs and the unexpected costs that pop up constantly. We just ask for truth and fairness that if financial help is not needed to please not apply in order to allow a child who could otherwise not afford it be able to receive their voice.
How will we know if we have been approved for the program?
When an application is submitted we will acknowledge receipt by email. Once we have processed and verified the application you will receive an email advising you if you have been approved.
How long is the wait to receive an iPad once we have been approved?
We will do our best to have an iPad to you within one month contingent on available supply and the number of current submissions.
Do I have to pay for shipping?
No. The iPad will be shipped to you free of charge.
